Руны ( Runestones ) уже давно занимают первые места в топе формуов Blizzard. Всем интересно, что это такое и с чем это будут есть. Специально для вас мы собрали немного информации о том, что мы знаем о рунах. Вот информация, предоставленная нам на BlizzCon в 2009 году:
- Руна Мощи (Power Rune) , которая была переименована в Руну Силы ( Force Rune ): Основное направление руны - увеличение повреждений.
- Руна Множества Ударов (Multistrike Rune), которая была переименована в Руну Гидры. Ориентирована на увеличение эффектов умения, разделение снарядов и увеличение радиуса действия.
- Руна Энергии (Energy Rune). Ориентирована на рациональное использование энергии. Снижает энергетическую стоимость заклинания, либо увеличивает эффективность умения. В общем и целом: тратим меньше - получаем больше.
- Руна Смертности(Lethality Rune), которая была переименована в Руну Гадюки. Она ориентирована на добавление критических эффектов.
- Поражающая Руна(Striking Rune), переименована в Руну Джокера (Wildcard Rune). Эту руну сами разработчики назвали "чудно'й" руной. Она не ориентирована на определенные эффекты. Она добавляет в игру то, что сами разработчики хотят добавить.
В начале этого года названия рун были снова изменены в:
- Кровавая (Crimson)
- Индиго (Indigo)
- Обсидановая (Obsidan)
- Золотая (Golden)
- Алебастровая (Alabaster)
Вместе с изменением имени пришли и грандиозные изменения в функицях, которые выполняют руны, и в разнообразии дополнительных эффектов, которые они дают. Сейчас руны могут "повернуть" ваше умение на совершенно другой путь, изменить его механику и визуальный эффект. Это уже намного интереснее, чем простое увеличение урона и изменение эффекта умения в определенном направлении. В своём "неофициальном" интервью известному американскому игровому ресурсу, Bashiok был многословен о новой системе рун. В частности, он сказал, что в системе рун огромное количество изменений. Теперь руны будут давать не только определенный эффект ( увеличение урона, мультиудар и так далее ), а некоторую комбинацию эффектов. Где-то это будет перекликаться с абсолютным изменением механики умения, как в случае с заклинанием Знахаря(Witch Doctor) Рой Саранчи (Locust Swarm). Кардинальные изенения затронули Руну Энергии. Да, она совершенствовала систему расхода и накопления энергии, но это было совсем уж уныло. Сейчас эта руна функционирует, как Руна Джокера. Она даёт множество разных бонусов одновременно.
Как отметил Bashiok, на данный момент у каждого класса персонажей есть 25 умений, которые подвергаются изменению с помощью рун ( только активных умений, конечно же ). 5 классов персонажей, 5 типов рун, 25 умений у каждого класса, которые подвергаются изменению рунами. Итого имеем: 700 различных индивидуальных эффетков, которые дают руны.
Так же, по завялению разработчиков, руны будут менять "стихию" заклинания. Например заклинание Волшебницы(Wizard) Гидра(Hydra) под воздействием различных рун обернется в Цепную молнию, Яд или Стрелы Холода.
